Dear Campers and their Families as well as Empire Parents and Team Members,
We trust you had a delightful holiday season and extend our warmest wishes for a happy and prosperous New Year to you and your families.
We hope you agree that the Holiday Havoc camp was a resounding success. The presence of Brian Realbuto, 3x All-American, and Section1’s winningest wrestler, as well as Michael Kemerer, a 5X All-American, was such a treat. Brian is an esteemed alumni of our program and Coach Kemerer being a Hawkeye, added an exceptional dimension to the camp. We take immense pride in being able to offer such high-caliber training to the local wrestling community, welcoming both club and non-club members. Fostering opportunities for excellence is crucial for the continued success of Section 1, as well as our neighbors in CT. We are dedicated to providing our wrestlers with access to top-tier talent and opportunities.
In the past six months, we have hosted learning opportunities with NC State, Univ. of Northern Colorado, and Mitch Clark. That is a ton of All-Americans. Furthermore, we hosted, World Champion Vito Aruju, Cornell Team Captain Julian Ramirez, and Virginia Tech’s Freshman All-American Caleb Henson, in addition to the Holiday Havoc camp. This commitment to bringing world-class wrestling to our community is aimed at facilitating growth and accessibility for all our members and guest wrestlers.
As a gesture of appreciation and in the festive spirit, we are delighted to share photos and a video capturing the essence of the camp. We sincerely hope that your experience at our facility was enjoyable, and we look forward to hosting you again soon. To better serve you, we kindly ask for your feedback through a brief survey. Your insights, especially regarding the timing (the day after Christmas) and the duration of the camp (4 days vs. a different length), are invaluable to us.
