2023 NC State Wrestling Camp

This is the 15th year we have run this camp in NY. We are so lucky to have this relationship with a powerhouse team like NC State. Coach Popolizio is renowned for turning NC State into a national powerhouse.

The philosophy of this camp is to develop the wrestling mindset while arming the student-athletes with the skills and understanding of what it takes to thrive at any level of wrestling and also in life. The same skills needed to be great on the mat serve you in every aspect of school and business. Coach Pat is sought by Fortune 500 companies to teach his brand of leadership. His teams are remarkable for the rate they improve. At Binghamton and now NC State, Coach Popolizio has climbed the rankings to make NC State a perennial Top 5 team, providing instruction not only in technical wrestling moves but in “Wrestling IQ” and strategies as well as rules and norms that young wrestlers need to comprehend.

Coach Pat Popolizio is a highly respected and accomplished figure in the world of wrestling. He is currently the head coach of the North Carolina State University wrestling team, where he has led the team to unprecedented success in the NCAA Division I wrestling scene. Coach Popolizio’s passion for wrestling began at a young age, and he has since dedicated his life to the sport, both as an athlete and a coach. Over the course of his career, he has achieved numerous accolades and awards, including being named the ACC Coach of the Year four times and the National Coach of the Year in 2018. Coach Popolizio is known for his exceptional coaching style, which emphasizes discipline, hard work, and a commitment to excellence. His leadership has inspired countless athletes to reach their full potential and has helped to elevate the sport of wrestling to new heights.
